Kirncroft steel doors are designed so that they can open both internally into a building and externally out of a building.

  • When an internal opening door is specified, weatherkits and rain deflectors are supplied as standard.


Terminology:

  • From the perspective of facing the door from the outside of the building
  • If the hinges are on the left then this is a left hand door and vice versa for right hand hung doors
  • If the door opens externally towards you then this is an external door and vice versa for internal opening doors
  • The possible ordering permutations are – LH EXT, RH EXT, LH INT, RH INT
